Objectives

ICT Academy is an initiative of the Ministry of Education of Government of Ethiopia in collaboration with the Universities and ICT Industries. ICT Academy’s objective is to train the University staffs, Students and community, thereby continuously striving on every aspect to provide a holistic service in developing the next generation talent pool in Ethiopia to make them industry ready employees, innovators and entrepreneurs.

Therefore, the universities have planned to offer courses taught by university experts and guest instructors from various organizations, and will ultimately award certificates to those who successfully completed the course.

IT Essentials

IT Essentials is a foundational course that provides an overview of essential computer hardware, software, networking, and security concepts. This course is designed to equip learners with the practical skills and knowledge required to build, maintain, and troubleshoot computers and basic networks. CCNA: Introduction to Networks

The CCNA: Introduction to Networks is the first course in the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification pathway. It is designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge in networking concepts, focusing on network architecture, functions, and components. The course introduces learners to the structure of modern networks and covers fundamental networking principles necessary for creating and maintaining network infrastructures.
